Recruitment

Recruitment Process

Phi Delta Epsilon holds rush weeks within the first three weeks of the Spring and Fall semesters. What sets new members apart is their commitment: to one another, to the IU experience, to the advancement of their careers, and to the world beyond medical school.

In order to become a member, all potential new members must submit an application along with a headshot and a brief video describing themselves. Applicants must also attend a minimum of three events during rush week (see schedule below). However, applicants are not required to stay the full two hours of each event. If a potential new member meets all of the membership requirements and completes a thoughtful application, they will be invited to interview. Decisions for admittance are based on the potential new member's application, rush week attendance, and interview. For updates on upcoming recruitment events, please send an email to iubphide.recruitment@gmail.com, and you will be placed on our mailing list. Completed applications should be submitted to iubphide.recruitment@gmail.com.
